Common questions

How Fast We Get to You

What happens after I call?

Someone on our team picks up, not an answering service, and hears out what's happened. We book a plumber to come to you, and once they've sized up the job on site you're quoted a fixed price up front. You can walk away at that point owing nothing.

How fast can you get here?

For most jobs we can be there the same day, and a genuine emergency like a burst pipe or the smell of gas jumps the queue. We won't promise an exact arrival, since traffic and the day's other jobs both shift it, so we'll call you with an honest update instead.

What counts as a plumbing emergency?

Water actively spreading, no hot water on a cold morning, a blocked drain backing up into the house, or any suspected gas leak all count. A slow drain or an occasional drip usually isn't urgent, though we're happy to help regardless of how big the job is.

Are you really available 24/7?

Yes, genuinely around the clock. Ring in the middle of the night or on a public holiday and someone who can actually help will answer, weekend or not. You won't reach a machine or a message bank.

Common questions

Pricing, Quotes and the $65 Off

Why isn't the lowest price your main focus?

Because the lowest quote often hides costs that show up later, and that's exactly what we built our model to avoid. We focus on a fair fixed price agreed upfront, backed by a lifetime labour warranty, so you know what you're actually getting for it.

What does the $65 off your first service cover?

New customers get $65 off their first job with us, whatever that job turns out to be. It's applied on top of the quote you're given, so you still see the full cost before agreeing to anything.

What payment options do you offer?

We agree the cost before starting, then settle up once the job's finished using whichever method suits you. There's no deposit required just to get a plumber out.

Do you charge a call-out fee?

No. Getting us out to assess and quote a job is $0, whether or not you decide to go ahead with the work afterwards.

Common questions

The Greystanes Questions

Cold winter nights here drive plenty of reverse-cycle heating use, and the flip side is a spike in hot water and pipe calls whenever a system already on its last legs gets pushed harder. It's a pattern we see across the older, post-war-era streets in particular.

Homes near landmarks like the Boothtown Aqueduct or Central Gardens Nature Reserve sit among some of that same original housing.

How local are you, really?

Greystanes is our home turf, plain and simple. We're on these streets most weeks, not just when the phone rings, so we know the local housing and where it tends to spring leaks. It's the patch we know best.

What suburbs do you service near Greystanes?

We cover Merrylands, Wentworthville, Pendle Hill, Smithfield and Wetherill Park as part of our regular area, alongside Greystanes itself.

Do you handle strata and units locally?

Yes. We take unit blocks and strata-managed properties as readily as the freestanding brick-veneer homes that fill most local streets. Common-property drainage and shared hot water are all in scope.

Do you take on new builds and renovation work?

Yes, alongside emergency callouts we handle plumbing on renovations and newer builds across the suburbs we cover.

Common questions

The Legal Stuff, Made Simple

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes, our plumbers hold NSW plumbing licence #465156C and we're fully insured on every job. You're welcome to check the licence against the NSW register yourself.

Can you check my licence number?

Absolutely, and we'd rather you did than take it on trust. Punch #465156C into the public register on verify.licence.nsw.gov.au and it comes straight up.

Who is responsible for a blocked sewer, me or Sydney Water?

You own the pipes running from the house out to where they join the main; past that junction it stops being yours. When a blockage sits past the connection point it becomes Sydney Water's to sort, and we'll pinpoint where the fault lies before quoting a cent.

Are your plumbers qualified to work on gas?

Yes, we have licensed gas fitters on the team specifically for gas work, separate from standard plumbing licensing. Gas jobs always go to someone holding that qualification.
